Issued to commemorate America's 250th Anniversary, this remarkable one-ounce proof coin is among the most anticipated releases of the United States Mint's Semiquincentennial celebration. With a maximum mintage of only 2,026 coins, it ranks among the lowest mintage modern U.S. Mint gold coins ever issued. Collector demand was immediate, with the Mint's entire allocation selling out within seconds of its release.

Unlike traditional round coinage, this extraordinary Liberty Bell-shaped coin was individually manufactured in the United States Mint's Research and Development Laboratory in Philadelphia using specialized equipment and hand-loading techniques developed exclusively for this groundbreaking design. It represents the first modern non-round gold coin issued by the United States Mint, marking a milestone in American minting innovation.

The obverse faithfully recreates the iconic Liberty Bell, complete with its legendary crack, the word LIBERTY, the dual date 1776–2026, and the inscription IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse features Independence Hall, where the Liberty Bell once hung, illuminated by fireworks celebrating 250 years of American independence. Also included are the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, the coin's denomination, weight, and .9999 Fine Gold purity.

Presented in the exclusive Founders Label signed by Louis Palafoutas, Founding Member of CAC, this exceptional coin combines flawless CAC PR70 certification, First Day of Delivery pedigree, extraordinary rarity, and one of the most historically important designs of the modern era.
