Obverse:
The obverse features the classic Draped Bust portrait of Liberty facing right. Liberty’s long, flowing hair is bound by a ribbon while drapery covers the bust, surrounded by thirteen stars representing the original American colonies. The historic 1804 date appears below, recreating the appearance of one of the most celebrated American coin designs ever produced.

Reverse:
The reverse displays the historic heraldic eagle design with wings raised and a United States shield across its breast. The eagle holds a scroll inscribed with E PLURIBUS UNUM in its beak, arrows in one talon, and an olive branch in the other. Clouds and thirteen stars appear above the eagle, with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA surrounding the design.
