2024-(P) Silver 230th Anniv Flowing Hair Medal AR MS70 PCGS Dannreuther
Celebrate one of the most iconic designs in American numismatic history with the 2024-(P) Silver 230th Anniversary Flowing Hair Medal. Struck in one ounce of .999 fine silver, this medal honors the original Flowing Hair Dollar of 1794, the very first silver dollar issued by the United States Mint. Issued in 2024 to mark the 230th anniversary of that historic coinage, the medal has quickly become one of the most sought-after modern issues.
This example is certified by PCGS as MS70, signifying a perfect strike with flawless surfaces. It also carries the Advanced Release designation (AR), reserved for the earliest medals struck and released by the Mint—an elite classification representing less than 10% of total production. Adding to its prestige, this medal features the John Dannreuther signature label, recognizing one of the most respected numismatic experts and authors in the field.
A low-mintage, sold-out release from the U.S. Mint, the 2024 Flowing Hair Anniversary Medal has already established itself as a key collectible of the modern era.
