The 2023 Burnished Gold Eagle has a limited mintage of only 10,000. Burnished American Gold Eagles were created with a matte finish as a collector version of the Gold Eagles. With advanced technology, the obverse now more closely resembles Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ original design of the Liberty figure. The reverse features a detailed profile of an American eagle. It was designed by U.S. Mint Artistic Infusion Program Designer Jennie Norris. These beautiful American Gold Eagles are certified and graded by PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) as MS70 (Mint State).
