2023 American Silver Eagle First Day of Issue NGCX MS10
2023 brings a new era and an exciting year for coin collecting. NGCX (NGC) introduces their new 10-point grading scale to the world. The 10-point grading scale has been the longtime standard for most collectibles, including comic books, trading cards and sports cards. This beautiful American Silver Eagle contains one troy ounce of pure silver and is certified and graded by NGCX as MS10. 10 is the highest grade and equivalent to the traditional Sheldon grading scale of 70. The idea from NGC is that coin collecting will benefit from a more approachable scale. The 70-point grading scale for coin grading isn’t going anywhere and still remains the industry standard. NGC has recognized a great opportunity to bring in new coin collectors.
