2021-D Morgan Dollar First Day of Issue NGC MS70
Struck at the Denver Mint to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the final Morgan Dollar in 1921, this 2021-D Morgan Dollar carries far more than just historical significance — it’s also considered the rarest in top grade. Certified NGC MS70 First Day of Issue, this flawless example is among the smallest population of perfect 70s from the entire 2021 Morgan series.
According to the U.S. Mint, the Denver-struck coins were the most prone to production imperfections, making MS70 examples significantly harder to find. As a result, the 2021-D has become a major key issue for collectors building high-grade or complete sets. The 2021-D Morgan is not just a modern commemorative — it’s a rarity in perfect condition, making it one of the toughest coins to acquire for any serious Morgan Dollar set.
