2021 American Silver Eagle Type 1 At Dusk & Dawn 35th Anniversary 377th PCGS MS70
Introducing At Dawn and At Dusk American Silver Eagle – The First and Last Type 1 and Type 2 Silver Eagle Designs ever minted are now available for the first time to the public. At the end of production for the Type 1 reverse 2021 Silver Eagles, the U.S. Mint kept and numbered each of the last 500 coins. As they transitioned over to the new Type 2 reverse, they also kept the first 500 coins (Type 2) produced in silver. These are the most limited U.S. Mint Release of all time. Only 500 of each Type 1 and Type 2 Silver Eagles (1000 in total), all individually numbered. Each Coin was hand struck by then Mint Director David himself. In mid-2021, the U.S. Mint hosted a very special ceremony, including John Mercanti, to produce the final Type 1 design Gold and Silver Eagles ever and the first Type 2 design coins. This ceremony commemorated the first ever design change of two of the most popular bullion and numismatic coins in the world. This coin is certified and graded by PCGS as MS70 and certified struck 432nd to the last T-1 silver eagle struck.
