2020-W $50 Gold Eagle End of WWII 75th Anniversary V75 PCGS PR70DCAM

Issued to mark a pivotal moment in world history, the 2020-W $50 Gold American Eagle with the special “V75” privy mark honors the 75th Anniversary of the End of World War II. Struck at the West Point Mint in 1 oz of 99.99% pure gold, this limited-edition Proof Gold Eagle stands as one of the most significant modern U.S. Mint releases.

What sets this coin apart is the distinctive "V75" privy mark, uniquely placed within a cartouche outline inspired by the shape of the Rainbow Pool at the WWII Memorial in Washington, D.C. This mark, coupled with the coin’s flawless PCGS PR70 grade, elevates its historical and numismatic value.

With a mintage of only 1,945 coins—a symbolic nod to the year WWII ended—this coin is one of the rarest modern Gold Eagles ever issued, and demand has far outpaced supply from the moment of release.
