Why Buy Ed Moy Signed U.S. Mint Coins?
Edmund "Ed" Moy was the 38th Director of the United States Mint. He led the Mint from 2006 to 2011 and during those five years Ed was responsible for leading the charge for the Mint to create some of the most important and innovative coin programs to date. Some of the accomplishments during his Mint Director tenure were the creation of the America the Beautiful Quarters program, the Presidential Dollar program and the Mint issuing special 20th Anniversary Gold and Silver American Eagle bullion coins and sets.
Many of these and other programs he implemented were responsible for the resurgence of interest in the coin collecting hobby. That is truly because like you, Ed also collects and appreciates America's coinage. He signed a limited number of Numismatic Guarantee Corporation coin inserts and we are very fortunate to be able to offer a few special pieces to you. But you should act QUICKLY to secure your piece of American numismatic history!
American Eagle Gold Proof Coin for Collectors
American Eagle Gold Proof Coins are collector versions of the official United States Mint bullion coins and are available in four sizes - one ounce, one-half ounce, one-quarter ounce, and one-tenth ounce sizes as well as a four-coin proof set, which contains one coin in each denomination. The American Eagle Gold Proof Coins have a limited mintage and are minted at the United States Mint at West Point bearing the "W" mint mark.
Coin Design
The American Eagle Gold Coin's obverse design features a rendition of Augustus Saint-Gaudens' full length figure of Lady Liberty with flowing hair, holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The reverse design, by sculptor Miley Busiek, features a male eagle carrying an olive branch flying above a nest containing a female eagle and her hatchlings.
NGC Proof American Gold Eagles in perfect PF70 condition are the most sought after and prized modern graded coins available in the market. If you are a collector of modern graded U.S. Mint coins in Perfect PF70, you owe it to yourself to add these premium NGC graded West Point Mint Gold Eagle coins to your collection today!
These beautiful American Gold Eagles are certified and graded by NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation). The grade is PF70 (Proof 70 or Perfect 70) which means the coins are completely flawless. Ultra Cameo is designated for Proof coins based on their fully frosted design and highly reflective fields on the obverse and reverse, giving it a pleasant visual contrast. NGC is a highly respected grading company and one of the largest in the United States.
