2008-W American Silver Eagle Reverse Of 2007 NGC MS70
The 2008-W Burnished Silver Eagle comes with two distinct different versions of the reverse. The normal 2008-W, is the newer style with a fancier "U" with a serif underneath the right of the "U". The Reverse of 2007 is much scarcer than the normal issue. There are approximately 47,000 coins bearing the reverse of 2007, based on information from the U.S. Mint who located 15 incorrect dies.A limited number of coins were erroneously minted using the reverse of the 2007 Silver Eagle, which has an uneven "U" and without a serif underneath the right of the "U". This beautiful American Silver Eagle was certified and graded by NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation) as MS70. NGC is a highly respected grading company and one of the largest in the United States.
