2006-W American Gold Eagle 20th Anniversary 3-Coin Set NGC MS70 PF70 RP70 Harrigal Signed

The 2006-W American Gold Eagle 20th Anniversary 3-Coin Set is one of the most important modern Gold Eagle releases ever issued, marking two decades of America’s flagship gold coin program.

This elite three-coin set is certified by NGC in perfect 70 condition and features the hand-signed label of Ron Harrigal, former U.S. Mint Director of Design and Engraving—adding exceptional historical and artistic provenance.

A Landmark Modern Gold Eagle Set

Released exclusively in 2006, the 20th Anniversary Gold Eagle set made numismatic history by introducing the Reverse Proof Gold Eagle for the first time ever. This innovative finish—featuring mirrored devices against frosted fields—instantly captivated collectors and remains one of the most sought-after Gold Eagle varieties.

With a Reverse Proof mintage of just 9,996 coins, this issue stands among the lowest-population one-ounce Gold Eagles ever produced.
